Grainfield, KS : Organization : City Park

Playground Fun!Grainfield City Park is fun for all ages! The park's newest feature is up-to-date playground equipment that the kids love! The memorials of two lifetime Grainfield residents, Delmar Heinrich and LeRoy Hartman, made the new renovations possible. Parents can rest assured that their children are safe because of the enclosed border and wood chip base surrounding the playground equipment. Basketball courts and horseshoe pits provide other activities for young and old. Events such as the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Labor Day Picnic, and Cruise, Shoes & BBQs draw residents and people from neighboring communities. So if you are just passing through and need to stretch your legs or you live in the area and want to enjoy a beautiful Western Kansas day, stroll through the Grainfield City Park!
